Austin City Limits
This weekend I drove home to Austin for Austin City Limits Music Festival. Since moving to Austin in May, I had heard so much about it but didn't think I would get to go any time soon. Pretty last minute, it turned out that I was able to go so my brother and I bought Saturday tickets for Weekend Two!
We bought tickets for Saturday mainly because that's what worked for my schedule. I had Friday off of school and with a long drive back on Sunday, Saturday just worked out the best. I was dying to see the Chainsmokers and Jacob is a huge Kygo fan. They were playing back to back Saturday night- it couldn't have been more perfect! The only other band I really wanted to see was Mumford & Sons- they played Sunday night.
We arrived around 3:00 on Saturday afternoon, which was probably the hottest part of the day. Being new to Austin, I didn't really know what to expect for "fall" in Texas but the weather was just about perfect. It started out a little hot but once the sun went down, long sleeves and shorts were great.
It was a really great weekend between ACL and getting to see my family in Austin. And not to mention a Sooner win at the Red River Showdown!
