Transitioning into Fall
Throughout summer, I found that my favorite outfit was denim shorts (high waisted) and cute tees. I collected a few over the summer and I fell in love with all of the tees at Magnolia. I decided on the original seal tee but also love the Texas Forever and the Waco tees!
The best part of this pairing is that it is easy and versatile. Great for hanging out on a Saturday or running errands throughout the week.
I've always loved outfits I can layer with, too. When it starts to get cooler throughout the fall, you can pop on a cute sweater or cardigan to keep warm. Trade the sandals for some sneakers and you're ready for a relaxed day.
Living in Texas and Oklahoma, outfits like this one are perfect because the weather stays so warm a whole lot longer than it did in Colorado. It's definitely something to get used to!
This would also be a great option for college gamedays! Yesterday's game against ULM was unseasonable chilly (but so so nice!) and a little sweater to throw over my dress would have been perfect for when the sun dropped behind the stadium. Boomer!
Yesterday and today have been perfect, weather-wise. The mornings have been chilly (my absolute favorite!) and the days have been warming up a little to be perfect. I know it will warm up again at least for a little bit but for now, I'm really enjoying it!
