Sooner Choice Awards, Year 2
Sooner Choice Awards is something that I loved the first time around and I was very excited to attend this year too. SCA is like the ESPY's of OU - it's by athletes for athletes and it's an unforgettable experience.
Last year, I rented a dress from Rent the Runway and decided to do the same thing this year. It's always a good experience and is the best way to find a formal dress. I always think buying a formal dress is such a waste because the odds that you'll wear it again are slim. Rent the Runway is perfect for any occasion and has an amazing variety of beautiful dresses.
I borrowed these shoes from my roommate (Caroline to the rescue!), but they are so so easy to find right now because they're super popular. I've linked a pair of Steve Madden's below, but you can find so many other brands from Nordstrom.
All athletes had the chance to vote on the awards for the night. The awards ranged from Perseverance Award to overall Athlete of the Year. It was great to see the stories behind some of the awards given and the hard work recognized.
