Short Weekend in Ft. Worth
It was less than 24 hours but it was a weekend packed with fun and catching up with Katie in Ft. Worth.
Katie was in town to visit her (almost!) new school- TCU! I am so excited for her to be a horned frog and even more excited to be in driving distance of my best friend again so soon :)
Taco Heads // Another Day, Another Taco sums it up pretty well. This was taken at a tiny taco shop located right off of campus. The queso was great, the quesadillas were amazing and I even tried elotes for the first time - yum!
Avoca Coffee // I've started to love cold brew coffee lately and this was the best one I've had so far. I would recommend the New Orleans style if you like cold brew. You'll fall in love. Another cute coffee shop to add to my favorites!
In the few hours I was there, I feel like I was able to see so much of Ft. Worth. It's a really cool area right around campus. We were able to try a few restaurants that were all really great.
Steel City Pops // Popsicle places are becoming such a trend lately and I love it because they are the cutest things ever. We just recently got a popsicle place in Norman called Epic Pops. They seem to be "popping" up everywhere. Steel City Pops has a bunch of locations in Texas and some in Kentucky and Alabama too. If you find yourself near one sometime soon, make sure to stop in. I recommend the cookie pops!
We did some shopping, some eating and lots of catching up. I can't wait for next fall when Katie will always be a quick drive down I-35. Here's to many more Ft. Worth adventures in the next few years!
