Nordstorm Trend Show
The past two years, my mom and I have gone to the Nordstrom Trend Show as a fun mother-daughter day. It's an early morning but so fun because they kick it off with a fashion show, then a day full of samples and shopping!
We left the makeup madness for a bit to go upstairs for brunch at Sixth and Pine. It was delicious and the view of the mountains is gorgeous!
We, of course, had our makeup done at the Yves Saint Laurent counter and the guy who did my makeup was amazing! I was wanting to go very neutral with my makeup and since watching Gossip Girl, I've fallen in love with the look of Lily Bass. Her makeup is always so neutral and light and I absolutely love it. I showed him a picture of Lily Bass (Kelly Rutherford) from the show and he recreated her look perfectly!
I just adore the way they style her makeup in the show!
I learned so much about beauty and even picked up some new goodies while there :)
