Fourth of July Fashion Inspiration
It's time for my favorite holiday of the year! The fireworks, the barbecues, and everything in between is what makes it one of the best holidays of the year. And the best part of the entire day is picking out that red, white, and blue outfit. I've had such a fun time picking out some cute outfits and even reminiscing on some old July 4th outfits.
This was two years ago with my friend Cassidy. She was visiting from Texas and we got to spend the fourth together!
This bandana look used to be one of my favorites. I would just keep a tied up bandana in my drawer and it was so easy to just pop on when I needed. It's a great replacement to a normal headband and it's so cute and patriotic!
I think the classic denim shorts look is perfect for a backyard barbecue. It's simple, it's comfortable and it's easy.
Here are a few of my favorites. I'm really loving the look of light wash denim shorts and drawstring shorts. I bought the shorts from Anthropologie at the beginning of summer and they are the perfect shorts for a cute look but with more comfort than regular denim shorts!
My favorite pair of shorts are the pair in the bottom middle. They're so cute! I have always loved the look of high waisted shorts but it is always so tough to find the perfect pair. I can't wait to visit Gap and see how these work out. Stay posted and I'll be sure to let you know :)
And of course, because I work at vineyard vines and it is such an American Summer, I have to include my absolute favorite dress of the summer. I bought this dress after someone told me I should try it on. I didn't expect to love it as much as I do and I've already worn it so many times since I bought it. It feels like you're wearing a t shirt but with the adorable look of a flowy dress.
I hope everyone is having a fun and safe holiday weekend. Happy Fourth!
