Dream City- NYC
Ever since I was a little girl, I've wanted to own a bakery in Paris. I've just always been so amazed by cities and all the lights and life inside of them. Here lately, I've been dying to go to New York City. It is just so magical and such a beautiful city. Paris has the historic buildings and the Eiffel Tower, but New York has the skyscrapers and the water. I've visited both (New York when I was much younger) and they are so beautiful and worth the visit, but my dream is to live there. I love looking at blogs of NYC locals and see what it is they love about the city so I've made a list of my favorite places in NYC. Here we go!
Grand Central Station: There is just something about traveling via train and I would love to take a trip from another city and arrive in my favorite city at a gorgeous train station.
Brooklyn Bridge: The architecture of the city is part of what makes it so amazing. Not to mention the gorgeous backdrop. It would be a dream to be able to photograph Brooklyn Bridge with the sunset behind. I've seen so many of those photos and I want to try my hand at a gorgeous sunset picture too.
The Plaza Hotel: Why stay anywhere else than Manhattan? It was once said, "Nothing unimportant ever happens at the Plaza." I couldn't think of a better place to stay in the Big Apple. When I was little, my family took a few trips to NYC. My brother and I were so obsessed with going to the Plaza Hotel and reenacting the Donald Trump scene from Home Alone (which was my all-time favorite movie when I was little; still my favorite Christmas movie!). Needless to say, it's my favorite hotel in NYC.
Central Park: Ride a bike, take a stroll, or go on a horse-drawn carriage. It amazes me how large the city is and there is still a beautiful park in the middle of it all.
These are just a few places but I know the more blog searching I do, the more I'm going to fall in love with the city. I hope you loved this Dreamers Guide to NYC and hopefully we will all get to visit soon!
