2016 Roundup
I love doing my monthly roundups because I get to take a look back on what I've done that month and reflect on it all. Looking back on the entire year is no exception - it's always good to remember what you've done and the lessons you've learned.
I know it's already the new year and everyone has said goodbye to 2016, but I can't help but to take one more look at the past 12 months.
One of my favorite parts of the year was that I was able to travel so much. Rowing allowed me to see a few new states and some old favorites from March until May. I was able to visit the beautiful colors of Tennessee a few times and create some really amazing memories while we were there. When summer came, I ended up traveling much more than I had originally thought I would. I'm in the midst of creating a fun travel journal video that I'll be sharing in the coming weeks.
Living in Austin for the summer and the holidays was something I've loved so much. Though I've missed Colorado and all of my amazing friends, Austin has been a great place to live for a few months out of the year. Especially for the holidays, the weather has been absolutely gorgeous and we've been able to do some fun things outside.
I am always thankful for the amazing people in my life. I'm blessed to attend and compete for an amazing university and continue to meet new people and grow amazing friendships in Norman.
This post doesn't do 2016 justice but it's just a little bit of my year and things that made it what it was. I wish you all the best in the new year!
