Stripes and Solids
Okay, so I love this skirt. When I was shopping around at Nordy's this past week, it was most definitely love at first sight. I told myself I wasn't going to buy it but when I tried it on there was no going back. It was basically everything I love in one skirt- pink, navy and stripes?! I couldn't resist.
I paired it with a J Crew Essential Tee that I will wear with basically anything. I didn't love the look of a relaxed fit tee with this skirt. Honestly, I think it just looked okay. I definitely think that this skirt needs to be worn with a fitted tee or tank. When I wear this skirt again, I would love to pair it with a navy blue (or white) racerback fitted tank or just a fitted tee. Now I'm on the hunt for one of those!
And of course, my Alex and Ani bracelets. If you don't have any of these yet, I highly recommend you buying one or a few! They are perfect to throw on anytime you want jewelry but nothing too much. And they go with everything!
Because the shirt was just plain white, I threw on one of my favorite long necklaces. This is from Premier Jewelry and I've had it for a while now, but it has always been my go-to for any outfit. It is silver and gold so it is great to just throw on when you need to add a little something to your outfit. You can find a few similar ones here.
