Jul 10 I'm Going to New York!

In just three days I'll be traveling to NYC for a little visit and to explore the city. I haven't been to NYC since I was very little and I am stoked to go back now. I used to have a huge obsession with all things city life, and since then, I've always wanted to go back. I'm very excited to play around with my camera and try to get some photos of the city. I will most likely look very tourist but you can't give up a good photo opportunity. :) I know that with only one real day to explore the city I can only do so much but here are some ideas of the places I want to visit:

The High Line // I actually hadn't heard of this until I started doing some research on cool places to go in New York. It's an old rail line that has been transformed into a park for pedestrians to sightsee from 30 feet above the city. I think it would be a great place to see some of the city and get some great photos!

Brooklyn Bridge // Of course, I have to visit some beautiful landmarks like the Brooklyn Bridge. It is such a gorgeous and photogenic place that I would love to see in person.

5th Ave // Because I couldn't go to New York without a little shopping :)

Central Park // For all the same reasons as the Brooklyn Bridge, I just want to see all the different parts of NYC I can with the little time I have. Central Park will be an amazing place to hang out and will also be perfect for taking some photos and playing around with my camera.

Grand Central Terminal // I really just want to walk around and see the beautiful architecture of the station and watch people hustle & bustle through their day. People watching is always a fun thing.

There are so many other places I would love to visit but I'm not willing to fight too many crowds for museums and such, based on the short amount of time I have.
