Vacation to Cabo San Lucas
We just got back from Mexico this past Tuesday and what a week it was! From laying poolside to beach volleyball and water polo, it was a sun-filled and water-filled week.
We stayed at the RIU Palace in Cabo and it was a great place to stay if you like to relax and enjoy the days in the sun. It is an all inclusive resort so all food and drinks are included and you're able to sit in the pool all day long.
We also spent two days at the best beach in Cabo, Medano Beach. The one downside to staying at the RIU is that it's about a 10 minute taxi ride from Medano Beach. The resort is beach front but the water is too strong to swim in (although the waves were very impressive to watch! I was amazed with the size of every wave that crashed on the shore).
My most favorite part of the trip was our Sail Boat excursion on the last full day of the trip. It was a four hour tour to Chileno Bay to snorkel and paddleboard. The trip out to Chileno Bay took about 45 minutes, then we sailed back for about an hour. The paddleboarding and snorkeling were so fun and we were able to see some amazing fish.
Cabo is one of my favorite places simply because of the amazing atmosphere. There are so many great restaurants (My favorite is The Office!) and great opportunities for an amazing vacation. Here's a few more pictures just for fun :)
