So, yesterday was just a preview at my excitement for my new San Fran city post. I am a lover of cities and all things urban so get ready. I am going to go through the things we did while in San Fran (so very touristy) and things we wanted to do, but didn't have a chance. I hope these things can be a help to you if you've never been to San Francisco and want to go. It was my first time and I absolutely adored the city. So let's get started!

I finally got to experience a real Vineyard Vines store for the first time in my life and it was everything I had expected- so great! You can see everything I bought tomorrow in my VV post! This store was in Tiburon, a super cute town just north of San Francisco. It has a little downtown with shops just like the VV store in the photo above.

So, this one was a little dissapointing. Full House was my absolute FAVORITE show when I was little and when I went to see the house, it looked so different than in the show. The house had been sold and they painted it and added trees in front of the house. We later found out that this was the house they used for close up shots and then they used the Painted Ladies for panned out shots and for the intro to the show. It was still worth seeing, especially if you watched Full House as much as I did!

So, this is the more recognizable "Full House house". It is the one in the intro to the show where they are sitting in this park, Alamo Square. These houses are gorgeous and were so fun to get photos of. We didn't stay long (just for the photo opp), but this park looked like a really cool place to hang out and have a picnic. There was a little barbeque going on and a ton of different people just hanging out. It looked like a fun place to take a break and take in the San Fran atmosphere.

PS- There is also a really cool view of the city right behind the houses.

Pier 39 is a very busy place but it is a cool atmosphere. It is the typical pier with shops, games, rides, etc. It's nice if you just want to walk around and have a great view of the bay. This pier is also famous for their sea lions. The sea lions like to come sit up on the docks and just lay out. I could totally watch these sea lions for hours- they are so cute! They will climb up on the dock and just lay out until they start fighting. I think they know everyone is watching them because the definitely put on a show :)

Boudin Bakery- this bread could be dangerous. Too good!

Oh my goodness. This bread. It is almost dangerous how good it is. My family just went and bought two baguettes of sourdough bread, got some butter, sat and shared it. I can't even describe how good it was. You must go try it for yourself! It's located right down the street from Pier 39, maybe half a mile down the street.

Of course, you can't go to San Francisco without getting a view of the Golden Gate Bridge. It was just as cool as I thought it would be. And it was super fun to get pictures of. When we drove over the bridge, I was basically hanging out the window to try and get a different view of the bridge. Some of those photos turned out and you can look at those in the Photography tab.

This view of the bridge was from the pedestrian bridge access parking lot (where the cyclists and other pedestrians could park to access the pedestrian portion of the bridge) near Sausalito. I liked this view of the bridge but I wish I could have gotten some photos from different angles. I found a website of the 5 Best Spots to Photograph the Golden Gate Bridge. I will put the link below!
